The Formax Coil100 Electric Coil Binding and Crimping Machine is a compact electric coil inserter for binding and finishing booklets with spiral plastic coil. Its modular design allows it to be used on its own or attached to the Formax Punch100 Electric Punch for a complete punch and bind system. The easy-to-use electric rubber roller threads the coil through the document quickly and effectively, binding up to 80 books per hour with coil diameters from 1/4 inch to 3/4 inch (6 to 20mm).
The integrated manual coil cutting and crimping unit finishes each document by crimping the plastic coil at a 45-degree angle, and the roller includes an automatic stop feature for operator safety. Plastic coils are durable and allow documents to be opened completely flat or folded back on themselves for convenient viewing. For a combined system, the Coil100 attaches to the front of the Punch100 using integrated mounting pins; for stand-alone use, the optional Punch100-30 support stand is required. With rugged all-metal construction and quick, quiet operation, the Coil100 is a practical coil binding solution for offices and schools that want a compact, flexible setup.
