The Formax ReadyWire Manual Punching and Binding Machine is a heavy-duty, compact wire binding system with smooth manual punching, designed for offices and organizations with low to moderate binding volumes. It is available in two models: the ReadyWire2M with a 2:1 pitch and the ReadyWire3M with a 3:1 pitch. Both models punch up to 12,000 sheets per hour and bind up to 200 booklets per hour without the need for a power supply. The 2:1 pitch model accommodates wire diameters from 1/4 inch to 1 1/2 inches for booklets up to 340 sheets, while the 3:1 pitch model uses wire diameters from 1/4 inch to 5/8 inch for booklets up to 135 sheets with a more refined look.

A precision vertical punching system uses gravity to hold every sheet in place, giving consistent hole placement even on larger document sets. Setup is quick with no tools required, and the specially hardened punch pins are easy to reach and can be individually disengaged to prevent partially punched holes. A depth gauge, variable margin depth, parallel adjustment, and closure control adjustment work together for an accurate and secure bind, while the integrated wire comb holding device keeps the workflow moving smoothly from punching to binding.
